A Bit of Paperwork
We will need you to fill out forms that provide general information about you and your condition. Our staff is happy to assist you with the paperwork. We also have a family friendly office - your children are welcome.
Consultation
During your first consultation with the doctor, you'll discuss any health-related issues and concerns. You will also learn about potential treatment options.
History and Examination
In order to pinpoint the problem, the doctor will ask you a number of questions related to your condition. A variety of targeted tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to
what extent. If you do not have a chiropractic problem, we will let you know and refer you to the proper specialist.
X-Rays
X-rays are not usually necessary, however your specific condition may require you to have x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions, or assist us in assessing the most effective
treatment plan for you.
Same-Day Treatment
Patients will generally undergo their first treatment on their first visit after the examination and x-rays (if necessary) are completed. This may include spinal adjustments and physical
therapy.
Home Instructions
Before leaving, you will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat applications, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as
well as home exercises.
Scheduling Your Next Appointment
Regular treatment is essential to the process. However, some patients want only relief care, while others want comprehensive care. We work with each patient to help them achieve their individual goals.
We accept Blue Shield PPO, Aetna PPO, Sutter Select PPO, and Delta. All plans are different, even the ones in which we participate. If you wish, we can contact your insurance company and determine your coverage before you come to the office and inform you of your coverage, co pays, and deductibles. Some insurances in which we do not participate have out of network benefits that may reimburse you up to half of the cost of a visit.
We accept automobile Medical Pay insurance. If you have an attorney, we can work with them to get the care you need. If you need an attorney, we have a list of reliable attorneys that we can refer you to. We also accept liens, meaning that we hold your bill until your case settles.
For those patients without insurance coverage, we have a reasonable pay-as-you-go plan.
We also accept Visa and Mastercard, cafeteria plans, and Health Savings debit cards (HSA).
